WHAT TO EXPECT…

My Studio is my Pride and Joy ♥️

I know that when clients ask me for my studio address before a session, they feel slightly apprehensive about where they are going.

Is it in somebody's home?
Is it the living room?
Is it upstairs in a little spare bedroom?

Absolutely not! 🙂

Bax and Me Photography is a boutique high street Studio in Walken village, its one of the first newborn photography commercial studios in Hertfordshire! and for that I am extremely proud.

I have worked tirelessly on tiny details to make it feel like the most warm and cosy environment, ensuring that all clients are paying for a boutique experience to remember!

It is a large beautiful bright and airy space with a cosy waiting area for parents to sit back, relax with refreshments while I do what I do best.

My studio is packed full of stunning props, hats, wraps and tiny outfits that I have obsessively collected over time.

As a mum of two I have had plenty of experience handling and calming unsettled babies and the safety of your newborn is paramount in everything I do. I am BANPAS safety trained,  DBS checked, a member of the Guild of Photographers, and am fully insured.

The main aim for my sessions is to make my clients feel comfortable and relaxed knowing that their precious new bundle is safe in my hands. Many mums who attend a newborn session call me the baby whisperer :)

I will only ever schedule one newborn session per day. I feel this is important so that you do not feel rushed in any way, also leaving you ample time to feed and comfort your baby throughout the session. My sessions are entirely baby led, meaning that they will decide the pace of the session. I will never force baby into positions if they’re not comfortable, for example the ‘froggy’ pose is not always achievable if baby hates it.

AFTER YOUR SESSION..

Newborn sessions can last between 2 - 3 hours. Once our session is over I will get to work on your gallery! Waiting time is usually two weeks, I will proof edit all usable images from the session (20 - 40 images on average) and ask you to come back to the studio at a time that suits you to review your personalised gallery and choose your images. This is in no way a sales session! I just will be there to assist in selecting the very best images with you.
